With Chelsea all set to make the away trip to Old Trafford on Sunday, it seems that manager Antonio Conte is still not ready to make peace with his opposite number, Jose Mourinho. The Italian manager was asked about whether or not he would shake the hand of the former Blues’ boss, to which he refused to comment positively, which means that there are still some unburied hatchets.
The two top managers have clashed quite a few times since the Italian manager took charge of the Stamford Bridge side and things have been heated between them ever since.
It has been further added that the Portuguese manager wants to talk things out and make peace with Conte, prior to the start of the match at the weekend, though the latter might not really be interested in such a truce.
Due to this, when asked the question about the non-mandatory “hand-shake”, the former Juve manager refused to reveal details about what he had on his mind.
Well, it has always been a trend for there to be mind-games and this game is going to be no different with the two managers looking to win it and stay alive in the title race.
Though Conte refused to speak on the topic, he did accept that it would be tougher to beat the Manchester based side, with Alexis Sanchez amongst their ranks.
Well, hopefully he has a plan for the Chilean international and can help his team take back something from this really crucial class.
