There have been stories going around that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is all set to leave Old Trafford and move to
the MLS, with the player confirming now that a move to the United States does seem tempting to him.
The 26 year old former Sweden international has almost done it all and is now looking for a new
challenge to say the least.
He has recovered from an injury that kept him out of action for months.
His role and importance in Jose Mourinho’s side has slowly faded away with the arrival of Romelu
Lukaku from Everton, prior to the start of the current campaign.
Talking to Swedish reporters in an interview in Stockholm recently, he talked about the possibility of a
move away from the Manchester based side and expressed his desire to make the move to the MLS.
The way that he spoke about the city of Los Angeles, complimenting it and expressing his admiration for
the league, it seems that he could be off to play there soon.
Zlatan has not really been given too many chances this season even since his return to fitness and it
seems that his time at the club is all but over, with youngsters like Marcus Rashford fighting hard for
that spot in the playing eleven.
Lukaku has also looked good in most games for the Red Devils and it seems that the Portuguese
manager prefers to stick to him in most games, which leaves very little room for Zlatan in the team.
For a player who prefers to spend most of his time on the pitch rather than off it, a move away from the
Premier League could be best for now.
