ManUtd vs Chelsea:Who is your man of the match? Check out what our experts have to say!!

It was third versus fourth in the Premier League Standings, Mourinho versus bitter rival Antonio Conte, and the victory for Mourinho’s team has taken them back into second above Liverpool in the Premier League Table.

The Belgian striker Lukaku proved to be heavy on his former club as he scored the equalizer and assisted another in an exciting 2-1 victory over arch rivals Chelsea.

A lot of expectations where there on the French midfielder Paul Pogba , but Romelu Lukaku’s all round performance has seemed to overshadow all. On Sunday, the Belgian striker scored a equalizer of Willian’s goal and then came with a brilliant assist to Jesse Lingard who found the net in the 75th minute to secure a crucial 2-1 victory.

There were a lot of questions on Romelu Lukaku’s form and top level ability when he arrived in Jose Mourhino’s squad from Everton, but he has gradually improved his all round performance. Far better from the immobile and inactive performance at Stamford Bridge earlier this season, this performance was a buccaneering as he stood tall in front of everyone. The Belgium striker came into the fixture against the Blues with 21 goals in all competitions, but none of those was against the top eight teams in Premier League.

Willian fired visitors Chelsea in front after latching on to a through ball from Eden Hazard just after half an hour. However Chelsea’s lead lasted just seven minutes, thanks to Romelu Lukaku’s equalizer.  But it was substitute Jesse Lingard who ensured Manchester United took the bragging rights after he scored the winner 15 minutes from time . With this win the Red Devils rised up to the second spot with 59 points from 28 games, 13 points behind from the table toppers Manchester City who have played one game less than that of United. Chelsea remained 5th with 53 points from 28 games.

It was once again Mourinho who had the last laugh as FNW believes that he again outclassed Conte with his tactical brilliance. Leaving towards the dressing, he was arguing the fans to clap for the players to take the spotlight away from him but boy did he proved the Italian why he is “the Chosen One”.
