The Premier League produced some magical moment at the weekend as the likes of Leicester City made the difference at the closing moment of the game. United made the most of the match as they came from 2 goals down to win 2-3 away from home.
Arsenal was dealt another blow when they lost 2-1 to newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion side.
In all, it was a week of interesting football action as Manchester City sit top of the League summit with 16 points above rivals and Neighbours Manchester United.
However, with these fine moments in the week, there are players that made the week memorable in the Premier League.
On this note, we take a look at these players as we look forward to week 30 matches in the Barclays Premier League.
Heung-Min Son (Tottenham Hotspurs)
The South Korean international gave his Spurs side the reason to smile as he scored a brace against promoted side Huddersfield Town. Son score in the 27th and 54th minute of the match to seal a 2-0 home victory for the host.
Mauricio Pochettino and his side will be delighted as they sit above London rivals Chelsea in 4th place (UEFA Champions League Position) all thanks to the forward whose form and class were evident against the visiting Huddersfield Town side at the weekend.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
The Egyptian had proved that world class players can be bought for good fee rather than the expensive transfer fee that is common in the transfer market.
Players like Lukaku (Romelu) and (Paul) Pogba were bought with a huge fee but a world-class talent has exploded on the Redshirt at Anfield this season.
That’s what you get when you make the right signing as Salah has been a threat going forward of the Reds in the Premier League this season.
His goal against Newcastle United got his tally to 32 goals as he continues to flourish for Jurgen Klopp’s side en route to the season.
Sadio Mane (Liverpool)
The Senegalese forward seems to be getting back to his usual best after an injury-plagued start to the season.
His combo with fellow African star Mohamed Salah is very much on point as both players got on the score sheet to down Newcastle 2-0 at the weekend.
His run and intelligence were evident as he got onto a pass from former Arsenal star Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain to make it 2-0 with an exquisite finish beyond the Newcastle goal in the 55th minute. That sealed the win for Liverpool much to the delight of Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool faithful.
Nemanja Matic (Manchester United)
The Serbian saved the day for Jose Mourinho and Manchester United as he snatched the win for the Red Devils at the closing moment of the match. Matic had a terrific evening alongside Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba in midfield as Juan Mata came on to quicken things in the second half.
United was 2-0 down after quick free-kicks from Crystal Palace led to their second goal after the restart of the second half.
However, the deficit was cut down to 2-2 as goals from Chris Smalling and Romelu Lukaku got United back in the game.
Matic did the rest thus scoring from range with a superb volley to gift United 2-3 win even when a draw looked likely to be the final result of the game. This got Roy Hodgson disappointed as they gave they’re all against Manchester United.
